Terminator/Miss Serendipitea
RIP my precious baby
1990 to December 2021
aka Miss T/Miss Tea, was my first horse (owned by me). She was initially owned by an old family friend we met through church, and had known a long time. However she got injured in late April '14 and needed some very expensive medical care. Her owners opted to have her euthanized but I took over ownership and thusly the vet bills.
Miss T was a 1990 baby standing at about 15.2 hands, former conformation winner as a filly, and a trained barrel racer. That being said, I don't think she was ever a blue ribbon winner... But that never stopped her from being a lil energizer bunny! If you asked her, she'll go. She wass basically bomb proof, hated having her nose touched, and loved to squeal at new horses... and her friends if they were on the wrong side of the fence. |
I called her my puppy dog on occasion, as she'd often follow me around when we were out of the field. Miss T wasn't one for running off and I'd often let her graze loose after a short riding session. Towards the end, our "rides" consisted of a small walk downhill to the stream, a graze on the other side, and a walk back up. It was just exciting enough (and vet approved).
While she was a failed barrel races, Miss T could've been a Hunter champion. I taught her to jump later in life and she had the most perfectly square knees! She was also caught on camera pooping while jumping lol. But it's okay, because she was the world greatest trail horse. If you were in the woods and plopped her on a path, she'd follow it, no steering needed. To say that Miss T was a small lil girl would be an understatement. I didn't get to say goodbye to her. I miss her dearly. I'll never get to scratch her tiny fuzzy ears or poorly braid her mane that barely grew ever again. I miss you, Miss T. I hope you're running wild and free with Mac, Partner, Agenda, and all your other friends! </3 |
